The Grease Police began as a group of kitchen exhaust cleaning professionals that realized
the kitchen exhaust cleaning industry was in need of vast improvements. Phil Ackland, IKECA
and CHDCA have all made big improvements to our trade, but a body that would hold kitchen
exhaust cleaners accountable for their actions had never been put in place. We decided it was
time for a change.
